Services For Ayahuasca Retreat Centers
Five ways to fill a retreat calendar without advertising. Below is what each one does, what it deliberately does not do, and the order most centers should buy them in. That order is not the one most people ask for.
What marketing services does an ayahuasca retreat center actually need?
Five, and rarely all at once. Consulting fixes pricing, screening and enquiry handling so the bookings you already get convert. Branding makes a nervous first time guest trust you. Google rankings and AI search visibility bring new people in. Full marketing runs all of it as one system. Because ayahuasca centers cannot advertise on Google or Meta, none of these can be replaced by paid media.
The order that matters
Buy them in this order, not the one you want to
Nearly every center asks for rankings first. It is the wrong opening move, and it is expensive. Traffic sent to a site that does not convert, or to an inbox nobody answers within a day, is traffic you paid for twice.
Consulting
Pricing, calendar, screening and enquiry handling. Usually the cheapest of the five and often the fastest money.
Fix the leak first
Branding
Identity, voice and photography direction, so the traffic that arrives has something worth trusting.
Give them a reason
AI search
Fewer competitors here than on Google, and positions are being set now. The cheapest visibility currently available.
Take the open ground
The largest and slowest prize. Worth starting early, worth expecting little for the first three months.
Compound it
Full marketing
All of it running as one system, with email, alumni and referral layered on top.
Make it a machine
If you already convert well and answer enquiries the same day, skip the first two and start at AI search. The audit tells us which is true for you before anybody spends anything.
Two questions, one answer

Marketing For Ayahuasca Retreat Centers
Marketing for ayahuasca retreat centers is the whole acquisition engine run as one system rather than as separate tactics. Strategy, content, search, AI visibility, email and alumni referral, all pointed at booked seats and reported that way. It is the option for centers that want one team accountable for the calendar instead of four vendors blaming each other.
What it includes
- A twelve month plan built around your calendar, not a generic content schedule
- Destination and service pages written to rank and to be quoted
- Publishing at a real cadence, written by us and reviewed by you
- Search and AI visibility run together rather than as competing projects
- Email, alumni and referral programs, which most centers never build
- Monthly reporting that opens with enquiries and confirmed deposits
What it does not include
- Paid advertising. Google and Meta will not run ayahuasca campaigns and we will not pretend otherwise
- Any claim that ayahuasca treats a condition
- Buying reviews, fabricating testimonials or writing urgency copy
- Running your Instagram as an acquisition channel. It is proof, not a funnel
- Taking a second client in your destination market
Rank #1 on Google Ayahuasca Retreat Centers
Ranking first on Google for a retreat query is won on destination pages, not blog posts. Someone typing ayahuasca retreat Peru is nearly ready to book, and the results that win are the ones with genuine depth about a place: the valley, the airport, the altitude, the season, the lineage. Most centers write about the medicine and then wonder why a directory outranks them.
What it includes
- Keyword and intent mapping for your destination, not a generic list
- Destination pages with real specificity about place, season and access
- Technical health, page speed, crawlability and schema, implemented not just recommended
- Internal linking that concentrates authority on the pages that convert
- Link acquisition through press, practitioners and genuine editorial
- Position tracking on the queries that carry booking intent
What it does not include
- Promises of first position by a date. Anyone offering that is describing a term nobody searches
- Bought links or private blog networks
- Thin AI generated pages published at volume
- Reporting built on impressions and vanity keywords
Rank #1 on AI Search For Ayahuasca Retreat Centers
Google ranks pages. AI assistants quote sentences. When somebody asks ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews to recommend a retreat, the model reaches for sources that state checkable facts plainly and are corroborated elsewhere. Twelve guests maximum, a physician on site, four ceremonies over seven nights, a stated price. Transformative healing in the heart of the jungle gives it nothing to quote, so it names a directory instead.
What it includes
- A baseline of what each major assistant currently says about your destination
- Answer first rewriting, so the first sentence of a section can be lifted whole
- Entity and schema work that makes your center machine legible
- Specific verifiable detail added where you currently have atmosphere
- Corroboration across directories, forums, press and profiles
- Monthly re testing against the same prompts, so movement is visible
What it does not include
- Any guarantee of being named. No one controls a model’s output
- Prompt injection, cloaking or hidden text
- Inventing facts about your center to make it more quotable
- Abandoning Google. A page can rank first and still be invisible in AI answers
Branding For Ayahuasca Retreat Centers
Your brand is what a frightened person decides about you at midnight. They are reading on a phone, three weeks from a decision that scares them, comparing you to four other centers that all use the same stock jungle photograph and the same word transformative. Branding here is not decoration. It is the difference between looking like a serious operation and looking like a website.
What it includes
- Naming, or a rename where the current one is holding you back
- Visual identity: palette, type, marks and the rules that keep it consistent
- Voice guidelines, including what you will never claim
- Photography direction and a shot list, so a real shoot replaces stock
- Guest facing document design: intake, preparation, integration
- A brand book your team can actually apply without us
What it does not include
- Borrowed lineage. We will not call your facilitators Shipibo, curanderos or maestros unless it is verifiable
- Iconography lifted from a tradition you do not belong to
- The photography itself. We direct it, a photographer shoots it
- A logo delivered without the rules that keep it coherent
Consulting For Ayahuasca Retreat Centers
Most centers do not have a traffic problem. They have a conversion and pricing problem. An enquiry answered on day four is usually lost. A shoulder season priced the same as high season stays empty. An integration offer given away for free is revenue you already earned and did not charge for. Consulting is the fastest money in this list, and it is the one nobody asks for.
What it includes
- Pricing review against your real occupancy economics, season by season
- Calendar design: how many retreats, when, and at what size
- Screening and intake flow, so the wrong guest is filtered early and kindly
- Enquiry to deposit process, scripted, timed and trained
- The integration offer, which most centers give away
- Alumni and returning guest programs
What it does not include
- Clinical or medical protocol advice. That is your physician’s remit, not ours
- Legal advice on operating in your jurisdiction
- High pressure sales scripts. Pressure sells software, not ceremony
- Staffing, hiring or facilitator management
Side by side
The five, compared honestly
| Service | What it fixes | First results | What you own after | Start here if |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Marketing | Everything, run as one system | 3 months, compounding | The whole engine | You are tired of coordinating vendors |
| Rank #1 on Google | Nobody finds you when they search | 3 months long tail, 9 to 18 head | Pages, links, positions | Your destination story is genuinely good |
| Rank #1 on AI search | Assistants recommend competitors, not you | 4 to 10 weeks | Structure, schema, citations | You want the ground nobody is defending |
| Branding | People arrive and do not trust you | 4 to 8 weeks to deliver | Identity, voice, brand book | You are new, renaming, or underselling |
| Consulting | Enquiries that never become deposits | Weeks, sometimes days | Pricing, process, scripts | You have traffic but a soft calendar |
Timeframes are what we have found typical, not guarantees. A domain with history moves faster than a new one, and a center willing to publish honestly moves faster than one that is not.
Every engagement, whichever you choose
What comes as standard
- A fixed fee audit firstTwo weeks, and the document is yours whether or not you continue. We quote the ongoing work after it, because quoting before means guessing.
- One center per destination marketWe will not take your competitor while we work with you. If your market is gone you hear it on the first call.
- No medical or healing claimsNothing we publish will say ayahuasca treats a condition. It is a regulatory exposure and it converts worse.
- Clinical review before publishingEvery medical or safety passage goes to your physician or clinical lead first. Nothing about screening or contraindications goes live without sign off.
- You own everythingPages, documents, brand assets, process scripts. If we part ways, none of it leaves with us.
- Month to monthNo twelve month lock in. Stop after any phase.
Questions about the services
Which service should we start with?
Usually consulting, then branding, then AI search, then Google. It is the reverse of what most centers ask for. Sending more traffic to a site that does not convert, or to an inbox nobody answers within a day, wastes the traffic.
If you already convert well and reply the same day, skip ahead. The audit tells us which is true before anybody spends anything.
How is AI search different from Google?
Google ranks pages, AI assistants quote sentences. Google can reward a well linked page that says very little. A language model needs specific, checkable facts it can lift and attribute.
A page can rank first on Google and still never be named by ChatGPT. That is why they are separate services rather than one.
Do we have to buy all five?
No. Most centers start with one and add the next when seats begin moving. The one to start with is often the cheapest rather than the largest.
Can we get branding or consulting if our market is taken?
Yes. The one center per market rule exists because two clients cannot compete for the same search positions. Branding and consulting do not compete for rankings, so they stay available even when the search work in your destination is committed elsewhere.
What does it cost?
The audit is a fixed fee and takes two weeks. Ongoing work is a monthly retainer scaled to how many destinations and languages you operate in. Branding is a fixed price project. We quote after the audit, because quoting before it means either overcharging you or under scoping the work.
Who writes the content?
We write it, you review it. Every medical or safety passage goes back to your physician or clinical lead before publishing.
Will you work with a center that has not opened yet?
Through branding and consulting, yes. Search work before you have facilitators, photography and a confirmed calendar spends your money building authority for a page that cannot convert.

Find out which one you actually need
Forty minutes, or an email if you would rather write. We look at your search visibility, check whether AI assistants name you, and tell you which of these five to start with. Often it is the cheapest one.
